Oil on Machined Panel
This series is focused entirely on erosion, and allowing the natural processes of erosion to occur and set. This series is not mimetic of a process, it is the actual process captured to show its beauty. Like many geological processes, the work appears stagnant, but is in fact a snapshot of a much larger time scale.
The machined panels were chosen as a formal and conceptual contrast.
